Digital printing has always been my passion. Introducing digital printed labels on Marks & Spenser products now 18 years ago. Within Mondelez International, I have been promoting and working on digital printing since I joined the company, now 13 years ago. Digital printing on labels, cartons, corrugated, shrinked sleeves … it was all set. But what about non-barrier flexible materials, with and without cold seal, on alu foil, for chocolate? Some challenges. I am leading the digital technologies platform within Mondelez International, global and cross category. We had many activations so far, Oreo Collorfilled NA in a laminated flexible material, China twice with carton set up box, Tang Brazil in flexible, Trident Mexico in carton sleeve, and many others. Of course, not to forget the personalisation exercises of Cadbury in UK, India, Australia, Milka in Germany, Toblerone, etc via 3rd party, eCommerce or in store and airports.
