Leading this panel discussion is Tom Cooper from WestRock with panelists from leading brands including PepsiCo and ConAgra Foods, along with additional panelists to be announced in the coming weeks.
Meet the Panelists:
Tom Cooper, R&D Manager Digital Printing, WestRock
Tom has a BFA (Photography and Clay) from the University of Maine. He was a production potter for many years and built a log house from scratch over an 8 year period. Tom has been with WestRock (formerly RockTenn Company) from 1991 to Present and works with in the Merchandising Display Division.
Tom was recently installed on the SGIA Board of Directors in 2011.
David France, Packaging Research Fellow, ConAgra Foods
David serves as Packaging Research Fellow for Conagra Brands. His charge is to identify new packaging technologies, processes and materials with the potential to drive innovation, new product/packaging platforms and support Conagra’s goal of becoming America’s fastest growing food company. He is passionate about good design, sustainability and consumer delight.
Todd Fayne, Manager, Global Packaging Laboratory, PepsiCo
At PepsiCo, Todd is responsible for expanding lab capabilities to support global packaging functions. He manages a team of scientists testing and analyzing new materials and packaging structures, as well as performing regular QA testing and rapid prototyping. Todd is additionally responsible for owning and developing global test methods for food packaging.
