DropJet launches new label press

Dropjet has shown a new five-colour label press for the first time at Fespa 2015 in Cologne on May 18-22.

The Turkish printer builder states its DJPress has unique approach to printing on paper. It first cures white ink across the media, before passing it on for CMYK deposition from its Kyocera printheads at 600dpi.

The continuous inkjet press is configured with a print width of 250mm-350mm and operates at a speed of 76m per minute.

The new label presses will retail for €634,000-€676,000.
